Thetispelecaris yurigako Ohtsuka, Hanamura & Kase, 2002: 613, figs 1-9.

Type material. HOLOTYPE: female, NSMT-Cr 14298. PARATYPES: 2 specimens, NSMT-Cr 14299; 13 specimens NSMT-Cr 14300.

Type locality. Submarine cave (The Mouse Trap) 10 - 34 m deep and 400 m off Grand Cayman Island (19º19'4.8"N 81º23' 22.8'W).

Diagnosis. Based on Ohtsuka, Hanamura & Kase, 2002: 613, figs 1-9. Head eyestalks absent; rostrum present. Pereopods 1 to 6 each with exopods; exopods with 2 articles, or with more than 2 articles; pereopod 2 large, fossorial. Pereopods 3-4 basis and ischium fused. Uropod endopod with 5 articles.

Habitat. Stygobiont, or Marine; Submarine cave.

Depth zone. Littoral (10 to 30 m depth).

Distribution. Cayman Islands: Grand Cayman Island, Caribbean Sea.

Classification. Hursutiidae.
